Mimi Studio d.o.o., located at 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia("we", "us", or "our"), operates the TruPairmobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
- Profile Information:Your display name, your partner's display name, and avatar selection.
- Onboarding Data: Answers you provide during the onboarding questionnaire (e.g., relationship status, anniversary date, preferred activities) to personalize your experience.
- User Content: Journal entries, memories, photos, and other content you create within the App.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and language settings.
- Usage Data: App interactions, features used, session duration, screens viewed, and crash reports.
- Subscription Data:Subscription status, plan type, trial status, and purchase history (processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat).
1.3 Information Collected with Your Consent
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA):Only collected if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. Used for measuring advertising effectiveness.
- Push Notification Token: Only collected if you enable push notifications. Used to deliver notifications to your device.
- Camera and Photo Library: Only accessed when you choose to take or upload photos for memories and prompts. We do not access your camera or photos without your explicit action.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- Personalize your experience based on your preferences and onboarding answers
- Process and manage your subscription
- Send push notifications (with your permission) such as daily relationship prompts and reminders
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the App (analytics)
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (attribution)
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information:
3.1 Supabase
We use Supabase for user authentication and secure cloud storage of your account data and profile information. Supabase processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
3.2 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase data and subscription status. See their Privacy Policy.
3.3 Mixpanel
We use Mixpanel for product analytics to understand how users interact with the App. Mixpanel collects usage events, device information, and session data. See their Privacy Policy.
3.4 Singular
We use Singular for mobile attribution to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. If you grant ATT permission, Singular may access your IDFA. See their Privacy Policy.
3.5 Apple
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment information for subscriptions and in-app purchases. We do not have access to your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
3.6 Resend
We use Resend for transactional email delivery (e.g., account verification, password reset emails). See their Privacy Policy.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only with the third-party service providers listed above, and only as necessary to operate the App. We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure password hashing
- Row-level security on database tables ensuring users can only access their own data
- Secure token-based authentication
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights (EEA/EU Users)
As Mimi Studio d.o.o. is based in Slovenia (European Union), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. You have the following rights:
